Boho Statement - Paper Bead Necklace

Chunky beads that make more than just a statement!

This is a one of a kind piece and I hope it brings a lot of joy to you or to someone special to you.

Hand-painted white cardstock or coloured cardstock paper is precisely cut into different sized strips that are then rolled to create a perfectly shaped bead.  These beads are then individually varnished (4 coats over 2 days) to ensure that they are splashproof and to give them that lovely glossy finish. All this is done with the highest attention to detail in my little studio at home in Co. Tipperary.

The beads are strung on waxed cotton cords. Cord length is approximately 34 inches in length that can be adjusted down to 26 inches with sliding knots.

Although the necklace is splashproof, please make sure you remove it before any water-related activities as the bead core cannot be sealed to make it waterproof.

This necklace comes packaged in a branded jewellery box.
